How Tali works

From a message to a bank ready record.

Tali works inside the chat you already use every day. Here is everything it does, step by step.

Coconut vendor recording a voice note at his roadside stall.
Text it. Say it. Record it.

Step 1

Set up in about five minutes.

Tap Start free on talicaribbean.com, or send "Hi" to Tali on WhatsApp at +1 246 240 7316. Confirm your number with a code Tali sends you on WhatsApp.

Then add your business name, what you sell or the services you offer with their prices, your currency, your working days and hours, and your logo and colours. Your first 7 days are free and you do not need a card.

Step 2

Record as you go.

Send Tali what happened, the way you would tell a friend. Tali shows it back on a card so you can check it, then you tap Confirm. Nothing is saved until you do.

Got something wrong? Tap Edit on the card, or change it later in the app.

Message examples, on a BBD$ account

You send: 2 cakes 180 cash
Tali records: Sale: 2 cakes, BBD$180.00, paid in cash
You send: 3 patties 12 each card
Tali records: Sale: 3 patties, BBD$36.00 in total, paid by card
You send: flour 25 expense
Tali records: Expense: flour, BBD$25.00
You send: A voice note: "Sold a haircut for sixty, bank transfer"
Tali records: Sale: haircut, BBD$60.00, paid by transfer

Step 3

Take bookings without the back and forth.

Share your booking link. A customer picks a service and a time that suits you, and leaves their name and number. Tali tells you on WhatsApp, you accept, and Tali confirms it to the customer and reminds them before the appointment.

Block off days and dates you are not working. The morning after, Tali asks if it happened at that price, so your records stay right.

Step 4

Get paid properly.

Send a receipt on WhatsApp after a sale. Send a quote before a job and an invoice after it, all on your own brand.

Tali keeps a list of who owes you and since when. When it is time, you send the reminder yourself. Tali never messages your customers on its own.

Step 5

A little check in. A better habit.

About an hour after your working day ends, Tali asks if you sold anything today. Reply with your sales and expenses, or tell it you did not work today.

If nothing is recorded for 7 days, Tali checks in.

Step 6

See your money clearly.

Open the Tali app for today's totals, this week and this month. Your sales, expenses and bookings each have their own tab.

Every month you get a statement on your brand with your income, expenses and money owed, ready for a bank, a lender or your accountant. Send "statement" on WhatsApp to get it any time.
